He is a fellow speaker at the Travel & Adventure Shows and during some down time, we sat down for a quick chat. A multiple Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter and producer, Peter Greenberg is Americaʼs most recognized, honored and respected front-line travel news journalist. Known in the industry as “The Travel Detective,” he is the travel editor for CBS News, appearing on CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley, and Sunday Morning, among other broadcast platforms.

A: Getting immersed in the great unknown. Learning.

A: Unexploited

Q: What is your least favorite word or phrase people tell you when you are abroad?

A: “Nickel & Dime”

A: Brochures

A: Water

A: Loud tour guides

A: Da Vinci

Q: What is The natural talent you’d like to be gifted with?

A: The ability to fly

A: The “F” word

Q: What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

A: Airline CEO

Q: What profession would you not like to do?

A: Politics
