Everyone always struggles to buy gifts for travelers. Trust me, I know, especially for a minimalist like me. I’m picky in my gear choices, and no two travelers are alike, so finding the best gifts for travel or the traveler in your life can be tricky. I’ve created the best gift guide for travelers to make sloppy easy for people like me.

While the gift of travel itself is priceless, some inspiration or gear to make life easier on the road is undoubtedly appreciated.

I love gear and gadgets, even though I always aim to pack light. This gift guide is a curated list of some of my favorite travel gadgets, books, and travel gear that I’ve used in my travels.

Here is the best gift guide for travelers wishing to travel more in 2021.

The Best Gift Guide for Travelers – Sustainable Travel Gifts

Roadtrips have been a life saver for many this year. I think road trips and camping will still be big in 2021. My friends, and like minded travelers, Anne & Mike Howard, aka @Honeytrek, have written the first glamping guide to North America. It is a beautiful book with great photography. It’s conscientiously written and inspiring. This would make an excellent gift for the traveler in your life.

Reusable Water Bottle

Hydroflask is my go to bottle because it’s BPA free, double wall insulated, so it keeps things at a perfect temperature, and very durable since it’s made from stainless steal. Avoiding single use plastics, like plastic water bottles, is the best way to reduce waste and help our planet. Including my favorite water bottle in my gift guide for travelers is a no brainer.

Sustainably Made Duffel

This is the duffel I carry and you’ve seen me use on my social media. It definitely makes this year’s list for one of the best gifts for travelers. The Eagle Creek Migrate Duffel is made out of recycled windshields. It’s not only sustainably made but also has a No Matter What Warranty. The 40L is carry on and the wheeled versions begin at 110L. Currently 30% off. Clearly one of the best gifts for travelers.

Bamboo Cutlery & Travel Set

Airplane Tray Cover & Organizer

I used this product this summer while I was flying during the COVID-19 pandemic. For the aircraft I was on, it worked brilliantly. It covered the airline seat tray perfectly and had pockets for storage. It’s washable and reusable. You can only put it on after take off, according to FAA and flight crews. Also, caveat emptor, you can’t use it on all aircrafts and business. So if you are flying alot in Europe or other countries where the economy tray folds in half first, you can only use it when the tray is fully extended. Also, since Delta is now changing most of it’s domestic aircraft, the same applies and will not fit when the tray is upright. Use promo code ANGEL2020 for 20% discount.

For the Road Tripper

Packable Duffel With Wheels

This 110L wheeled duffel bag boasts of insane levels of durability and functionality. This duffle bag is uber organized and has pack straps to sling it over your shoulder when that’s more convenient for your mode of travel. Backed by the No Matter Whatª Warranty and also packable for easy storage.

Espresso & Coffee Maker

The Nanopress Espresso maker is small and packs a punch! Ideal for the coffee lover and light packer. Trust me, this is an awesome choice and one of the best gifts for travelers. If you follow my adventures, you know I love coffee. The Waco Minipresso Espresso Machine is definitely on my list.

Organizer Cubes

I honestly don’t know how to pack any other way. Anything you fold & roll, T shirts, work out clothes, base layers, shorts, trousers, goes in these packing cubes. The cool thing about these cubes is that they compress and help you pack more. These Eagle Creek packing cubes are one of the best gifts you can give your favorite traveler.
