Traveling with 4-Wheeled luggage

Would you rather walk beside your luggage seamlessly or have to struggle to pull your luggage the “old fashioned way”? As a former backpacker with backaches, I’m a firm believer that traveling with a 4 wheeled piece of luggage will increase your mobility and make traveling easy. Do yourself a favor and get the latest in great luggage design. Remember, you can always switch to the 2 wheeled mode if needed.

Look for the following features:

  • Rubberized wheels for a quiet roll
  • 360 degree turn radius
  • Ball bearing wheels
  • Dual casters or big beefy wheels with treads
  • A wheel housing that protects the wheel so it will not be easily knocked off
  • One screw construction (for easy repairs if needed)
  • Minimized impact of internal packing space
